- The Central Government has notified “Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra” PAN: AAZTS6197B to be place of historic importance and a place of public worship of renown u/s 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
- Therefore, taxpayers can save on income tax by contributing to Ayodhya Ram Mandir. The maximum deduction allowed is 50% of the donation amount (subject to other conditions u/s 80G) from the total income of the taxpayer.
